Absolutely blown away by Genetti Bistro! The shakshouka was nothing short of amazing – a definite must-try. But honestly, everything was a delightful surprise. The spiced tea was from another world, and the coffee was sensational. Beyond the incredible food and drinks, the service was truly exceptional. Genet, the owner, was so friendly and sweet, and Brenda was an amazing host who made us feel so welcome. Their warmth really added to the fantastic experience. Highly recommend Genetti Bistro for anyone looking for amazing food, incredible flavors, and genuinely wonderful hospitality!

While in the area, I picked this place due to the high ratings and it did not disappoint! This is indeed a gem with its eclectic decor, amazing service and delicious food. I am no expert in cappuccinos but I had to try it because of the reviews and it was delicious, not strong or milky. I got the omelette with vegetables and a side of bacon and it tasted as if it was homemade with fresh ingredients. However, the star of the meal was the delicious mushroom quiche my friend ordered, best one I’ve had! We also tried the french toast and it was perfect with lots of fruit and not too sweet syrup. On top of that, the service is very welcoming! We will definitely go back!

I absolutely loved this little family-run restaurant! The shakshuka was wonderful — rich, flavourful tomato base, perfectly cooked eggs, with just the right blend of spices. And the coffee? Excellent, strong but smooth — just what I needed. The warm, friendly atmosphere makes it even better, especially thanks to the lovely owner whose kindness really shines through. Highly recommended for anyone craving good food and genuine care!

Needed somewhere to stop for a quick little breakfast and Genetti Bistro did NOT disappoint. Fresh and organic ingredients. Amazing coffees. Beautiful decor and atmosphere. Polite and friendly employees. I got the mushroom coffee with an omelette and it hit the spottt!! Highly highly HIGHLY recommend coming here for a relaxing Sunday breakfast/brunch

I had a pleasant experience at this little shop. I received great customer service. The iced tea I had was very delicious and refreshing. The organic chicken sandwich had fresh ingredients however the bread was a little tough. The environment is just as beautiful as the pictures show. I love the environment and how everything is set up and I would definitely visit again. Parking: There is limited parking you might have to park further away sometimes or across the street

Absolutely fantastic brunch experience. Cute atmosphere, and just amazing food that you wouldn’t have seen coming. Super helpful and friendly staff, as well! For starters, I don’t even know where else around the SW Chicagoland area you can get a shakshouka! The tomato sauce was perfect; not too up front, not too acidic or spicy or tangy, just blending in really nicely with the eggs. I had shared that along with their steak & eggs where you get a beautifully seasoned steak cooked how you like; with a glorious array of potatoes, eggs, a nice little salad, some gorgeous toast, and some beautifully cooked sun-dried tomatoes hiding sneakily underneath the steak. The flavors all compliment each other very nicely, like a team that works really well together. Considering we were having brunch there, we also had to get the Turkish coffee. That alluring blend of spices and strength, this Turkish coffee does not dispoint. I also enjoyed the glass it was served in This place may be easy to miss location-wise, so treat yourself to some wonderful food here.
